Testimonials --
What's it like to work with Global GreenSTEM?

What I love about Laura and Global Green STEM is that she has made her approach to STEM so approachable.  When working with her in Guam the teacher excitement and engagement was actually visible!  They were really learning from her and from each other in ways that were actionable in their classrooms.  If you are serious about STEM-ifying your schools, Laura’s approach is the one you need!!”

I have found Laura to be a valued thought partner. She has a masterful way of building relationships that fosters her ability to best meet the needs of all of her colleagues and students.  Laura brings a unique blend of educational experience and field experience to guide teachers and students to elevate their STEM knowledge and skills.  Making connections from the classroom to the real world in authentic ways is her forté.

We at the Captain Planet Foundation have been working with Laura Arndt at Global GreenSTEM since 2017. We initially sought out her curriculum design and environmental STEM education consulting services to fill a gap, but our relationship has grown into much more of a collaborative partnership. Laura brings an incredible depth of experience and expertise to her work, as well as a heart-felt commitment to the importance of the work to engage young people in authentic environmental problem solving. We at Captain Planet Foundation have come to consider Laura a critical member of our team that elevates the quality and integrity of our work with educators.

Adapting to remote online learning has had many challenges. I have been grateful for Global GreenSTEM’s ability to address these challenges and explore what rigorous learning looks like in this format. Global GreenSTEM has been foundational in creating classroom experiences that are relevant to our Indigenous students, and in the development of rigorous Indigenized STEAM content aligned with science standards. Laura provided me relevant, specific, and achievable feedback on how to engage students. She was additionally flexible when adapting and developing content to address my students specific needs. Laura has been there in the continual process of adapting and re-adapting content to create a classroom environment so that students are comfortable, engaged, and thinking critically.

I am sure that when I get back to school, I will make learning come alive! All the knowledge and application await for my students to unfold and get excited through learning, just as I was when I was in the training!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for this [STEM design project co-developed by Laura Arndt/ Global GreenSTEM] project and all the work done. I've been teaching for almost 25 years now and I must say that's the best project I've ever seen. The resources, activities and documents for coaches and pupils are really amazing. What a work! I'm really glad you opened it internationally this year. Moreover, the online coach training you provide is really helpful.
